The Heart Behind Somi Therapy
Hi, I’m Amanda, an Integrative Mind–Body Therapist and the founder of Somi Therapy.
I created Somi Therapy for professionals and mid-life transitioners who feel overwhelmed, restless, or disconnected on the inside, often without a clear “reason” why. Many of the clients I work with are capable, thoughtful, and deeply self-aware. They know what they should be doing, yet something in their body keeps pulling them back into the same patterns.
My work is grounded in a simple belief: clear thinking happens when the nervous system feels steady. That’s why Somi takes an integrative, mind–body approach — blending psychology, neuroscience, trauma-informed therapy, and somatic practices to support change that feels safe, meaningful, and sustainable.
Today, I work with clients across different life stages and locations around the world, supporting people who have adapted to long-term pressure in ways they’re only beginning to understand, and helping them feel more grounded, present, and at home in themselves again.
